Our Enterprise Payments platform is part of the Payments Product org and is a critical part of that mission, powering seamless, reliable payments for some of the largest restaurant brands in the world.

As the Associate Director of Product for Enterprise Payments, you will lead the Enterprise Payments Product team and be responsible for building mission-critical payment solutions for our largest and most complex customers. You will own the product vision and strategy and build payments capabilities that enable our enterprise customers to run their businesses seamlessly-  from alternative payment methods to custom integrations and hardware.

In this role you will:

  • Drive the development of enterprise payment features and capabilities — from alternative payment methods to custom integrations and hardware.
  • You will partner with sales, operations, and cross-functional teams in the US, as well as engineering teams in the US and India, to solve mission-critical challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively across time zones and thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility role.
  • Shape the payments experience for some of the most recognizable restaurant brands while working closely with Toast’s senior leaders.
  • Lead the product strategy and execute the roadmap for the Enterprise Payments platform.
  • Align stakeholders across sales, operations, engineering, and design around a clear product strategy
  • Advocate for enterprise payments needs across Toast, ensuring dependencies are understood and partner roadmaps deliver on requirements.
  • Take ownership of key initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive execution and deliver on the product vision.
  • Anticipate challenges and opportunities for the platform and proactively address them.
  • Manage multiple projects and product requests while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Define and monitor success metrics, making data-driven decisions to continuously improve products and drive business value.

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years in the payments industry (enterprise payment products, hardware, and software).
  • Strong understanding of payment technology, card payment systems
  • Strong decision-making and prioritization skills; results-oriented with urgency to deliver.
  • Proven track record of setting product vision and executing payments strategy, with an eye for detail.
  • Skilled collaborator with the ability to partner effectively across functions and influence senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Unrelenting focus on ownership, results, and problem-solving; you see a problem and provide thoughtful solutions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions, if eligible), benefits, and equity (if eligible).

Pay Range
$155,000—$248,000 USD
