About this roll*: (Responsibilities)

The successful candidate must have the ability to meet tight deadlines, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently. He/she must establish and maintain a professional working relationship with department managers, supervisors, operators, and cross-functional engineering teams. 

What you will do:

  • Work with Engineering and Management to identify process improvements opportunities within our fulfillment centers
  • Spearhead waste elimination initiatives
  • Implement lean practices were applicable 

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
  • Previous co-op experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.2/4.0 or higher
  • Now and in the future, unlimited authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Junior or higher university classification
  • Must be willing to work 40 hours a week during the 6 month Co-op term
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Ms. Project, Visio)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in groups and independently
  • Ability to travel and work overtime if necessary
