Toast is seeking a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to drive the funnel strategy & performance for Sling by Toast. This role will be responsible living and breathing funnel strategy & optimization. They will identify and develop a roadmap around areas of growth & optimization which includes: paid programs, website conversion optimization, email programs, and more. They will partner cross-functionally with Product & Sales teams to work against conversion, activation, adoption & engagement metrics. 

The ideal candidate is an experienced, results-driven marketing professional with experience working with Freemium or Free trial business models and motions. The ideal candidate loves rapid testing & pace and is used to creating Marketing & Web roadmaps that are driven by data both quantitative and qualitative.This is a perfect opportunity for a talented marketer looking to make a mark at a rapidly growing company.


About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Manage the Sling by Toast funnel day to day, calling out key insights to the broader cross functional team to help inform future decisions
  • Drive marketing programs and web roadmaps that are data backed and align to an overarching strategy 
  • Increase top-of-funnel demand by defining traffic strategy across channels including SEO and paid programs and communicate performance to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Oversee the Sling by Toast website experience and build testing roadmap to improve site conversion and overall visitor experience
  • Get buy-in on programs, influence cross functionally, and activate team members to drive program success
  • Dig into data to uncover opportunity areas, establish baselines, establish goals, and effectively track tests 
  • Build from the ground up new marketing levers and rapidly operationalize top performers into evergreen programs
  • Take ownership of programs at a fast pace and quickly be seen as expert


Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • 7+ years of growth marketing, web optimization and/or demand generation experience
  • Experience with a broad array of marketing channels, including, but not limited to SEM and Paid Social, SEO, CRO, Email Marketing, Content Marketing, and more
  • Experience with Salesforce and business intelligence tools like Looker or Tableau
  • Testing methodology: ability build an MVP with little to no technical debt, with an eye on path-to-scale
  • Deep understanding of funnel measures (LTV to CAC, MQL to Opp, etc.) and how those translate to initiative and business success
  • Track record of building strong partnerships across the organization
