Toast is looking for a Senior Manager focused on eCommerce go-to-market and customer growth. You will drive the strategy of digitizing the way we sell Toast, as well as self-service initiatives to reduce our cost-to-serve. This individual is a culture builder, organized, and collaborative, sitting in the center between Marketing, Sales, Product and R&D.

Who We’re Looking For:

Reporting to the Director, Web & eCommerce, we are seeking a highly motivated leader to join our global Web & eComm team. This role focuses on translating data & insights into impactful initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and developing strategy in service to driving metrics including new customer acquisition and increasing our average revenue per user. This role will leverage expertise in eCommerce in implementing qualitative and quantitative feedback to drive key outcomes.

About this roll (Responsibilities):

  • Accountable for growth of eCommerce revenue and improved shopper experience
  • Manage new business and upsell eCommerce Product Owners, enabling them to thrive in delivery of the strategic roadmap by partnering deeply with R&D engineering and UX teams
  • Lead team in developing and execution of a comprehensive release & testing strategy aligned with company goals and user needs
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends, tooling, and innovations in eCommerce and recommend new strategies and technologies
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of funnels & initiatives, iterating and optimizing based on data insights
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, design, analytics, sales, finance) to ideate and build strategy that reflects optimal end-to-end experience

Skills:

  • Management experience & proven track record of culture building required
  • Proven track record (7+ years of relevant experiences) of driving eCommerce success 
  • International exposure a bonus
  • Technical acumen and ability to act as a voice between engineering and the go-to-market business teams in an effort to drive quality work within defined timelines
  • Strong ability to communicate, problem solve, and solution design to drive expedited delivery dates
  • Identify cross-team dependencies and identify innovative ways to balance prioritization of tasks
  • Comprehensive knowledge of eCommerce technology landscape

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.
Pay Range
$138,000—$221,000 USD
