**This is open to Juniors and Seniors and is a full time co-op. This role is HYBRID and you must be located in the Boston area (2 days a week in the office is required)**

Toast is driven by building the all-in-one restaurant platform that helps restaurants operate their business, increase sales, engage guests, and keep employees happy. Our Talent Attraction team plays a crucial role in attracting top talent by increasing awareness of Toast as an employer of choice and enhancing candidate and new hire engagement. This role will support our Global Employer Brand & Early Career team to drive impactful talent attraction strategies.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

Early Career 

  • Be a visible and reliable presence in our Boston office supporting a standout intern/co-op experience by being the go-to person for onsite needs and day-to-day support.
  • Collaborate day-to-day with the Early Careers Manager and Campus Recruiter as a key part of the team. 
  • Manage the end-to-end logistics for early career programming, including internal and external events (virtual and in-person), onboarding experiences, and more.
  • Coordinate details like supporting local university relations, catering, scheduling, room booking, materials shipping and receiving, tech setup, and budget tracking.
  • Collaborate closely with Employer Brand, New Hire Success, IT, and Workplace Experience to create a smooth, engaging, and consistent program.
  • Create communications to promote engagement programs, events, and opportunities across various channels (e.g. newsletters, Slack, intranet, employer brand external channels).

Employer Branding 

  • Support the execution of employer branding strategies to attract and engage top talent.
  • Assist in sourcing and developing engaging content in partnership with internal stakeholders for LinkedIn, Instagram, the Life at Toast blog, and other relevant platforms.
  • Monitor and respond to feedback on employer review sites, ensuring a positive and responsive brand reputation. This includes escalating critical feedback and identifying common themes for improvement.
  • Develop recruitment marketing assets for specific hiring initiatives.
  • Conduct research on employer branding trends and competitor strategies to optimize our approach.

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Interest and/or experience in HR, events, campus recruiting/early careers, administrative coordination, or a fast-paced team support role. 
  • Excitement to be onsite in our Boston office and act as “boots on the ground” for a distributed team. 
  • Passion for working with students and early career talent, and a genuine interest in creating a positive, memorable experience for them. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid, and global environment.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and ready to jump in wherever help is needed.
